About
Air Busan is a South Korean low-cost carrier and a subsidiary of Asiana Airlines, one of Korea's two major full-service airlines. Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Busan, Air Busan has grown to become a leading regional low-cost carrier, operating a fleet of approximately 30 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft serving domestic and international destinations.
The airline operates from its primary hub at Busan Gimhae International Airport (PUS), South Korea's second-busiest airport, with a secondary hub at Seoul Gimpo Airport (GMP). Air Busan focuses on connecting Busan and other Korean cities to popular destinations across Japan and Southeast Asia, catering primarily to leisure travelers.
Unlike ultra-low-cost carriers, Air Busan includes one checked bag in the base fare and offers a more generous carry-on allowance. The airline's coral and orange livery reflects the vibrant coastal character of its Busan home base. As an Asiana subsidiary, passengers can earn Asiana Club miles on flights, though Air Busan also operates its own FLY & STAMP loyalty program.
