About

Eurowings is Germany's largest low-cost carrier and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lufthansa Group. Headquartered in Dusseldorf, Eurowings operates a fleet of approximately 100 Airbus A320 family aircraft serving over 140 destinations across Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and select long-haul leisure routes to the Caribbean.

Founded in 1996 and significantly expanded through the integration of Germanwings in 2015, Eurowings positions itself as a value carrier offering affordable European travel while maintaining connections to the Lufthansa Group network. Unlike some ultra-low-cost competitors, Eurowings provides a more straightforward fee structure and participates in the Miles & More frequent flyer program, allowing passengers to earn and redeem miles across Lufthansa Group carriers.

Eurowings is not a member of any airline alliance but offers codeshare connectivity with Lufthansa Group airlines and select partners.
