About
Sky Airline is Chile's first and largest low-cost carrier, offering domestic Chilean flights and international routes throughout South America. Headquartered in Santiago, the airline was founded in 2001 as a full-service regional carrier before transitioning to the low-cost model in 2015 under the leadership of Holger Paulmann, son of Cencosud retail magnate Horst Paulmann.
Sky operates an all-Airbus A320 family fleet with an average age under 6 years. The airline serves 20+ destinations across Chile, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, and Colombia. In 2019, Sky launched its Peruvian subsidiary, Sky Peru, which operates from Lima and has become one of Peru's leading domestic carriers.
Sky is not a member of any airline alliance and does not have traditional codeshare partnerships, though it has interline agreements with several carriers for connecting itineraries.
