Ural Airlines is one of Russia's largest airlines, headquartered in Yekaterinburg in the Ural region. The airline traces its origins to 1943 when it was established as a division of Aeroflot, becoming independent as Ural Airlines in 1993 following the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Today, Ural Airlines operates a fleet of approximately 50 Airbus A320 family aircraft, serving over 200 destinations across Russia, CIS countries, and selected international markets.

Important Note on Current Operations: Since 2022, Ural Airlines' international network has been significantly impacted by sanctions following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The airline no longer operates flights to the European Union, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, or most Western destinations. International operations continue to destinations including Turkey, UAE, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Egypt, and other CIS countries that have not imposed airspace restrictions. The airline is not a member of any global alliance.

Ural Airlines is known for its strong domestic network connecting the Ural region and Siberia with Moscow, St. Petersburg, and southern Russian resort destinations. The airline operates significant seasonal charter services to beach destinations in Turkey, Egypt, and Southeast Asia.
