Volaris is Mexico's largest airline by passengers carried and the leading ultra-low-cost carrier (ULCC) in Latin America. Headquartered in Mexico City, Volaris holds approximately 42% of the domestic Mexican market and serves over 90 destinations across Mexico, the United States, Central America, and the Caribbean.

Founded in 2006, Volaris pioneered the ULCC model in Mexico, offering base fares starting under 500 MXN (about $25 USD) with separate charges for carry-on bags, checked bags, seat selection, and onboard purchases. The airline operates one of the youngest fleets in the Americas, consisting entirely of fuel-efficient Airbus A320 family aircraft with an average age under 5 years.

Volaris is not a member of any airline alliance and does not have traditional codeshare partnerships.
