About

Air France is France's full-service network airline, part of the Air France-KLM Group and a founding member of SkyTeam. Its network is now centered on Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG); in summer 2026 Air France shifted nearly all Paris flying there, with limited public-service exceptions. Check the operating carrier on each segment because KLM, Transavia, and other partners can follow different baggage rules.

A normal checked bag is limited to 158 cm total dimensions; an oversize option can cover a bag up to 300 cm, and an overweight option can cover a bag up to 32 kg. Check the price in My Bookings or at the airport rather than relying on an old Europe/transatlantic table.

Purchase Tips

  • Additional checked baggage can be purchased during booking, in My Bookings, or during online check-in where eligible.
  • For eligible routes, buying by the published advance deadline can cost less than paying at the airport; Canada/U.S. exceptions apply.
