Introduction

Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is the largest airport in New England and the primary airport serving the Greater Boston metropolitan area. Located in East Boston, just 3 miles from downtown Boston, it is one of the closest major airports to a city center in the United States.

The airport has four terminals arranged in a rough arc along Boston Harbor:

  • Terminal A: Delta hub with domestic and select international flights
  • Terminal B: American Airlines, United Airlines, Air Canada, Spirit
  • Terminal C: JetBlue's second-largest focus city (after JFK)
  • Terminal E: International terminal - British Airways, Lufthansa, Emirates, TAP, Aer Lingus, plus JetBlue international

Note: There is no Terminal D at Logan.

Airside connections: Terminals A and B are connected airside post-security. Terminals C and E are connected airside. However, there is no airside connection between the A/B complex and the C/E complex - transfers between these require exiting security.

Free shuttle buses connect all terminals on the landside (outside security), running every 6-12 minutes.
