Introduction
Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) serves Liberia and the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica. Located 11 km west of Liberia city, it's Costa Rica's second international airport and the gateway to the Pacific coast beaches and Guanacaste's dry forest.
The airport has a single modern terminal that opened in 2012. Growing rapidly as Guanacaste's tourism develops.
