Royal Jordanian is the flag carrier airline of Jordan, headquartered in Amman. Established in 1963 by royal decree of the late King Hussein, the airline has grown to become a major regional carrier connecting the Middle East with Europe, Asia, and North America.

As a member of the oneworld alliance since 2007, Royal Jordanian was the first Arab airline to join a global airline alliance. This partnership provides passengers access to nearly 900 destinations worldwide through codeshare agreements with American Airlines, British Airways, Qatar Airways, and other oneworld members.

Royal Jordanian operates a modern fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliners for long-haul routes and Airbus A320neo aircraft for regional services.
