Etihad Airways is the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, headquartered in Abu Dhabi. Founded in 2003, the airline has rapidly grown to become one of the world's leading premium carriers, operating a fleet of approximately 100 aircraft including Airbus A350-1000s, Airbus A380s, Boeing 787 Dreamliners, and Boeing 777-300ERs. The fleet averages 8.6 years of age and serves over 100 destinations across 40+ countries.

Etihad is not a member of any airline alliance but maintains an extensive network of over 40 codeshare partners including American Airlines, Air France, Virgin Australia, Korean Air, and Air Arabia Abu Dhabi. The airline is renowned for its innovative luxury products including The Residence (a three-room suite on the A380), First Class Apartments, and Business Studios, as well as award-winning lounges at its Abu Dhabi hub.

In 2025, Etihad continues aggressive fleet expansion with 20 additional aircraft per year planned through 2026, with ambitions to reach 200-220 aircraft by 2030.

Etihad's The Residence is the world's only three-room suite on a commercial aircraft, available on select A380 routes.
