JetBlue is a U.S. carrier with large operations at New York JFK, Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and San Juan. It is not a member of a global alliance. Its Blue Sky collaboration with United now includes interline sales, earning and redemption, and reciprocal benefits for eligible TrueBlue and MileagePlus members; that is a partnership, not an alliance merger.

If your itinerary includes another airline, check the operating carrier on each segment before applying JetBlue's bag or check-in rules.

Direct answer: every JetBlue fare, including Blue Basic, includes one personal item and one carry-on bag. The personal item can be up to 17 × 13 × 8 in (43 × 33 × 20 cm); the overhead bag can be up to 22 × 14 × 9 in (56 × 36 × 23 cm), including wheels and handles. JetBlue publishes no carry-on weight limit, but you must be able to lift the bag.

For off-peak travel within the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Canada, eligible Blue, Blue Basic, Blue Extra, and EvenMore tickets currently use base fees of $49 for the first checked bag and $69 for the second. When those bags are added more than 24 hours before departure, JetBlue's published off-peak prices are $45 and $59. Blue Plus includes one checked bag; Mint includes two bags up to 70 lb (32 kg) each.

Transatlantic pricing is different and depends on fare, currency, purchase timing, peak dates, and ticket date. JetBlue's current legal pages do not support reusing the old $35/$60 table across those trips. Mosaic/card benefits and partner-operated segments can change the result further.

A standard checked bag is up to 62 linear inches (157 cm) and 50 lb (23 kg). A third or additional bag is currently $200 on eligible non-transatlantic itineraries. Use JetBlue's official bag calculator for the actual itinerary rather than treating representative off-peak figures as a quote.
