Owen Roberts International Airport

Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM) serves Grand Cayman, the largest of the Cayman Islands and a British Overseas Territory. Located 2 km east of George Town, the capital, it's the gateway to world-famous Seven Mile Beach, diving, and the Caribbean's premier offshore financial center.

The airport has a single terminal that underwent major renovation. Modern and efficient for an island airport.

Key airlines: Cayman Airways (national carrier), American, Delta, United, JetBlue, Southwest, British Airways, and various carriers.

GCM is on Grand Cayman's west side:

• To George Town: 2 km, 5-10 minutes
• To Seven Mile Beach: 5 km, 10-15 minutes
• To Stingray City departure point: 20 km, 25-30 minutes
• To Rum Point: 35 km, 40-50 minutes
• To East End: 40 km, 45-55 minutes

Uber does not operate in Cayman. Use taxis.

Public Buses

Limited public bus service exists but is not practical for airport transfers.

Rent a car: Easy to explore the island. Multiple agencies at the airport. Temporary Cayman driving permit required ($20).
